There are several ways to install Oney's module. Select one which suits you best:

Back-Office installation

If you are using Prestashop 1.6.1 to 1.6.9, navigate to "Modules and services". Then click on the "Add a new module" button. (in the top right corner of the screen).

After clicking a new section "Add a new module" appears in the screen. In this section you will be able to upload the module archive (zip file).

Browse the module archive through your computer and click on "Load the module".

After loading, the module should appear in "modules list" section.

Simply search "oney" in the search field to see it appears.

You may click on "Configure" button on the right side of the cartridge to start with module's configuration.

If you are using Prestashop 1.7.0 to 1.7.7, navigate to "Modules" > "Module manager". Then click on the "install a module" button. (in the top right corner of the screen).

After clicking an "Install a module" popin appears in the screen. In this popin you will be able to upload the module archive (zip file) by drag and dropping the file or browsing your computer.

After loading, the module should appear in "modules list" section.

Simply search "oney" in the search field to see it appears.

You may click on "Configure" button on the right side of the cartridge to start with module's configuration.

Manual installation

Prerequisites

  • Technical skills.
  • FTP/SFTP access and credentials

Installation through you FTP/SFTP

If you want to directly use FTP/SFTP to install the module on you store you may login via your preferred FTP client using your credentials.

Note: Make sure the module's archive has previously been unzipped.

Open you FTP/SFTP connection with your credentials, then, in you server (screenshot right window) navigate to the "modules" folder and simply copy/paste or drag/drop the unzipped folder of the module folder on your computer (screenshot left window).

Wait for the upload to be complete. Once it is done, you can go to module's configuration section.

Module upgrade

Important note: Prestashop has a persistent data system regarding module's configuration. It means, Prestashop keep in cache some information to reuse them for any future module's reinstallation or upgrade. This feature allows you not to have to fill in credentials information every time you update the module on your Prestashop.

It is possible to directly install the next version of the module via module's interface by clicking the "Upgrade" button.

Also, if you encounter any trouble or persistent behaviour from one module's version to another it may be linked to this data persistence. To avoid such behaviour, it is recommended to proceed as follow:

  1. Uninstall Oney's module.
  2. Browse to "Advanced settings" > "Performances" and click on "Clear cache" button.
  3. Navigate back to Prestashop's module section.
  4. Install Oney's module.
